Do you need some help finding activities during this time of social distancing/staying at home? Check out these ideas.
- Encourage friends and family members to meet via online channels: Skype, Zoom, FaceTime, Google Duo
- Help others in the community as you can, getting groceries, medicines, etc. (though certainly practice social distancing as much as possible – especially with those most vulnerable and certainly NOT if you are self-quarantining)
- Clean out your closets, garage, etc. and donate (as long as you’re not quarantined) to your local resale shop. If you were sick, make sure you disinfect everything first.
- Take a walk/hike
- Do some yard work
- Play in the yard
- Read a good book
- Listen to music (The Metropolitan Opera is offering FREE livestreams of some of their famous operas for the duration of their closure.
- Do a prayer walk in your community praying for all things coronavirus-related
- Stream a favorite show/movie
- Call a friend, immunocompromised person or elderly neighbor
- Learn to cook something new
- Watch a how-to video and learn a new skill!
- Rest!
